AOI Prize For Illustration 2020 Eligibility:
Open to illustrators and students of illustration throughout the world, regardless whether they are members of the Association of Illustrators or not.
AOI Prize For Illustration 2020 Prize:
- First prize: 2000 GBP (approx. 2,930 USD) and display of image on a LTM poster
- Second prize: 1000 GBP (approx. 1,460 USD)
- Third prize: 750 GBP (approx. 1,090 USD)
Deadline: September 26, 2020
Entry fee: There is no entry fee.
Ceremony and Exhibition of AOI Prize For Illustration 2020:
Moreover, the top 100 entries selected by a panel of judges will be displayed in an exhibition at London Transport Museum that will open from May and run until September 2020. The winners will be announced at a private award ceremony that will take place in early May 2020.

AOI Prize For Illustration will be held 01 May to 01 Sep 2019 in London, England. AOI Prize For Illustration has presented the most comprehensive and significant awards for illustration in the UK. This year, after an incredibly successful first collaboration, they welcome back their international partner, the Directory of Illustration, to build on the success of the inaugural World Illustration Awards, honouring the most inspiring illustration throughout the world. Any illustrator from around the world can enter the competition. The aim of The Prize for Illustration competition is to attract artwork for display in an exhibition at London Transport Museum that is colourful, inspiring and celebrates or is inspired by the sounds heard in the hubbub and quiet spaces of the UK’s vibrant, diverse, multi-layered cities.
