Prague Carnival will be held 02 to 06 Mar 2019 in Prague, Czech Republic. Prague Carnival is a Bohemian carnival In Prague. The main objective of the Bohemian Carnevale is to revive the spirit of traditional medieval carnivals which were celebrated both in the streets and in noble palaces. Each year in February, the harshness of winter is forgotten as the warmth and colour of the carnival take over. This annual festival is inspired by the colorful traditional festivals of Bohemia in the Baroque period, such as was experienced by Mozart. The carnival takes place throughout the city, with both indoor and outdoor celebrations, with costume parades, concerts, dance performances, a masked ball for children, and many other surprises that await you around every corner. The city of Prague is perfect for such fun, especially at night. Watch out Venice! Especially now since Prague has joined the Federation of Carnival Cities, which aims at connecting all of the famous carnival cities, making Prague the real deal. Prague may not have mysterious canals, however, the city is famous for its gorgeous architecture and winding cobblestone lanes that create a labyrinth in the city center.
