Why Aichi Triennale 2019?
Aichi Triennale has many characteristics that distinguish it from its domestic and overseas art festivals — it is a celebration in and of the urban space; it is spatially unbounded, actively permitting content to spill out of museums and into local streets and neighborhoods, and it has a spirit of inclusiveness and cooperation, as demonstrated by its embrace of performing arts.
Aichi Triennale 2019:
The 3rd Aichi Triennale, scheduled for Summer - Autumn 2019, will be held under the artistic director, Chihiro Minato.
2019 Concept:
Homo Faber: A Rainbow Caravan
The theme for the 3rd Aichi Triennale is humankind’s creative journey—or “caravan”—to the unknown, the kind of journey that invariably takes the form of an endless quest driven by curiosity.
