Berliner Liste will be held 15 to 17 Sep 2017 in Berlin, Germany. Berliner Liste is a satellite of the Berlin Art Week, presenting emerging artists and galleries whose work is (still) at affordable prices, some focused on underrepresented, but internationally acclaimed urban artists, and other on emerging creatives from German and international scene. Being the latter of the two, Berliner Liste is an independent art fair widely respected as a happening populated with exhibitors and fresh names. The spectrum of exhibited art ranged from contemporary painting, sculpture, drawings and graphics to installations, video art and performance. For the third year running, the Photography Section gave a special focus on photography that looks back on a long tradition in Berlin.New, exciting talents and gallery programs presented their work to a wide audience of art lovers and collectors in the extraordinary atmosphere of the Kraftwerk in Berlin Mitte. Berliner Liste is an event and I like events...
The Berliner Liste offers up an international platform for photography in Berlin with the new Photography Section. With its long traditions in photography and its many exhibition halls, Berlin plays a significant role in the photography world – more than enough reason to open up an exhibition section dedicated to the discipline.
Take a street art tour with Berlin Street Art and discover the colors and vibrancy of Berlin through its urban art. Leave the museums and traditional tours for a walk outside!
The streets of Berlin have long had a story to tell. From murals that depict the trials of German reunification to paste-ups that comment on current events, the city’s graffiti is a record of its history and its people. And many of Berlin’s finest international artists use streets, buildings and public spaces to host their masterpieces. But if you don’t know where to look – or don’t know what it is you’re looking at – it’s easy to miss the narratives being told.
With 123 galleries, project rooms and artists from 23 countries and four continents, the Berliner Liste was once again the biggest art fair in Berlin. The fair took place from September 17th to 20th and attracted more than 10.000 visitors.
