Programs of Expo Chicago 2020:

• Dialogues: Presented in partnership with the School of The Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), /Dialogues offers panel discussions, conversations and provocative artistic discourse with leading artists, curators, designers and arts professionals on the current issues that engage them.

• IN/SITU: The IN/SITU program provides exhibiting galleries the opportunity to showcase large-scale installations and site-specific works by leading artists during EXPO CHICAGO. Each year, the program is selected by a different major international curator—past curators.

•  Expo Video: Presented in partnership with Columbia College Chicago, EXPO VIDEO highlights a selection of dynamic and cutting-edge film, video, and new media works by artists selected from EXPO CHICAGO 2020 Exhibitors.

• EXPO Projects:  is presented alongside IN/SITU in and around Navy Pier, featuring a curated selection of projects organized by EXPO CHICAGO

• Special Exhibitions: The Special Exhibitions program features select regional, national, and international non-profit institutions, museums, and organizations to be included on the main floor of the exposition. Joining 140 leading galleries representing 17 countries and 43 cities from around the world, EXPO CHICAGO’s Special Exhibitions offer unique, high-quality installations throughout Navy Pier’s iconic Festival Hall.

• Expo Editions + Books: EXPO Editions + Books showcases a cross-section of artist books, editions, prints, and more. From limited edition collectibles to zines and pocketbooks, the booths will offer a diverse array of print media and cultures that span across photography, collage, drawing, printmaking, art monographs, and creative writing.

• Booth Talks, Performances, And Signings: In addition to the exhibiting galleries, EXPO CHICAGO hosts a variety of booth talks, featuring established and emerging international artists, performances scheduled throughout the day at Navy Pier, and book signings aligning with rare copies and releases.
