Mission of Young Art Taipei 2016 (YAT 2016):

• To establish an international platform for galleries in Asia.

• To create a new sophisticated and elegant art fair by promoting young contemporary artists under 45 years old via a new way of displaying art at a hotel venue.

• Approximately 60 galleries with over 350 artists will be invited from Asia and countries all over the world.

• Five-star hotel as venue, providing a quality and cosy exhibition space.

• To combine a strong collector group and consuming power for art; to encourage cross-industry flows of resources in the contemporary art market.

• To integrate strong collectors and consuming power for art around Asia, in order to encourage the exchange of art market resources among countries.

• To provide “young, refined, affordable, refreshing and promising” art pieces, attracting new buyers in Pacific Asia.

Vision & Goals of Young Art Taiwan 2016 (YAT Taiwan 2016):

• To connect international galleries.

• To enable collectors to discover prospective artists.

• To enlarge and integrate Asian contemporary art market.

• To assist galleries to generate above-average sales revenue

Target Consumers in YAT:

• An inclusive list of Taiwanese collectors that have contributed at least two third of the Sotheby’s from market in Asia.

• Established collectors from both regional and global art circles.

• International artists and curators.

• Interested beginners in contemporary art collecting.
