Zoom Photo Festival Launches Wide View, a new publishing platform:
Wide View presents a unique perspective on contemporary issues brought to life by photojournalists from here and elsewhere. This new tool from Zoom Photo Festival is a publishing platform that will evolve over time and provide new resources for photojournalists so they may tell their stories in their own way.
Zoom Photo Festival Saguenay :
This international call for applications is open to professional photographers and photojournalists of all nationalities. There is no theme. To participate, please send your application before 31 May . Do not forget to include a document with your name, a brief biography and contact information. Please note that this call is different from the Human Nature photo contest. The photo contest is open to both the general public and professional photographers. If you are an amateur or professional photographer and have worked around our contest theme, we invite you to participate in the contest.
Human nature :
The contest is part of the Zoom Photo Festival Saguenay, International Meeting of Photojournalism.
The theme, Human nature, proposes a look at the way Man, in the largest sense of the word, can be influenced by his environment, that is to say by the conditions, both natural and cultural, that make up the frame of his life and that are susceptible to have an impact on him.
The winning photos, which are chosen by a jury, will be exhibited during the Zoom Photo Festival Saguenay. They will also be presented at the Maison du développement durable in Montreal. Participants must submit their photo journalism entry, which should include a minimum of 20 photos.
