Who is START for?
START provides international galleries with a global platform on which to show their artists in London, one of the most important cities in the art world.
The fair looks to attract an audience of the general public and individuals with an interest in the art world, such as curators, artists, collectors, gallerists, museum directors and critics. START welcomes both first-time and seasoned collectors of art.
What kind of art will be shown at START art fair 2020?
Contemporary art from around the world, including paintings, sculpture, installations, videos, multiples, prints and performances.
The Prudential Eye Zone:
This specially curated section of the fair showcases some of the most exciting and important work being made by emerging artists in Asia today. The Prudential Eye Zone will continue to feature work of the hugely successful Prudential Eye Programme which has held large-scale international group exhibitions surveying new art regions, each fully contextualised with accompanying books published by Skira.
About the Saatchi Gallery:
The Saatchi Gallery was founded in 1985 with the aim of making contemporary art accessible to the widest possible audience by providing an innovative platform for emerging artists to show their work. Over the last four years the Saatchi Gallery has hosted ten out of the top 15 most visited exhibitions in London according to The Art Newspaper's survey of international museum attendance.
