Mission Statement of Amsterdam’s International Theatre School Festival (ITs) 2020:

ITs connects young, graduating theatre and dance talents with programmers and other professionals, press and audience, on both a national and international level. By doing so, ITs Festival Amsterdam is the ideal stepping stone to a successful (international) career in the field of performing arts.

ITs focuses on:

• Stimulation and promotion of artistic exchange and encounter

• Talent development and working towards (more) profound skills

• New (inter)national alliances

• A constant flow from the academy towards the professional performing arts

ITs program:

The ITs program comprises final projects of graduating actors, directors, mime performers, choreographers, dancers, stage designers and others, all presented in the main black box theatres of Amsterdam. Next to the performances, ITs offers debates, workshops, talk shows and of course after parties.

Main Objective of Amsterdam’s International Theatre School Festival (ITs) 2020:

ITs’ main objective is to bridge the gap between the arts academy and the professional world. For emerging artists, we can be a stepping-stone towards an international career. For (international) scouts, impresarios, directors, programmers and general audiences it's the place to see a cross section of the new generation of performing artists.
