The Awards Competition is open to artists, designers, makers and creators from around the world. Designers come from all backgrounds and experiences including fashion, textile or industrial design, jewellery, architecture, engineering, sculpture and painting, or homemaking. Some of them have been storing a creative idea in their brain for a long time, sometimes years, others use the annual creative challenges (sections) to spark a new vision. . Did you know that finalist designers are encouraged to join us in Wellington, New Zealand each year to participiate in Awards Week events, celebrate their achievement, attend the official Awards Ceremony and connect with other designers from around the world? . .
