Brunei ITF Junior Circuit (grade 5) will be held 30 Jun to 04 Aug 2019 in JalanBerakas, Brunei. Brunei ITF Junior Circuit (grade 5) is one of the best opportunities to enter the professional tennis players world, obtaining new skills and higher ranks. The games will be played on outdoor hard courts of the National tennis Centre of Brunei.This year’s games  consist of 4 events: boy’s singles , girl’s singles, boy’s doubles , girl’s doubles. the last version of these games(grade 4) was held  at the same place on march 8TH  which was  dominated by Japanese players in both divisions , doubles and singles.   All players who compete in ITF Circuit tournaments must be signed up to the IPIN Online Service, and have a valid IPIN, for which an annual membership fee is payable.   • BOYS SINGLES MAIN DRAW: 64 direct  entries and 12 qualifiers
  • BOYS DOUBLES MAIN DRAW: 32 direct entries
  • GIRLS SINGLES MAIN DRAW: 64 direct  entries and 12qualifiers
  • GIRLS DOUBLES MAIN DRAW: 32 direct entries

All these games and tournaments are  established in order to develop young tennis player’s skills and prepare them for the challenges of the future professional games .usually the participants of these games are aged 18 or and under. junior tours are organized by the international tennis federation (ITF) and provide a great chance for young tennis players to get a junior ranking that will authorize them to also get an ATP or WTA ranking. The tournaments consist of 8 different grades as below:

  • Grade A (containing 4 Grand Slams)
  • Grade B(regional competitions)
  • Grade C(international team competitions)
  • Grade 1-5

Some of the most successful tennis players such as Australian Lleyton Hewitt, used these games as a platform to reach higher grades an shine like a star.
