Giffoni Film Festival (GFF) 2019 Official Sections:

• Elements +3 - international competition of animated short films for children from 3 years to 5 years
• Elements +6 - international competition of feature films and fiction and animation short films. The section is devoted to an audience aged 6 to 9 years
• Elements +10 - International competition of feature films and fiction and animation short films. The section is devoted to an audience aged 10 to 12 years
• Generator +13 - international fiction and animation feature film competition. The section is devoted to an audience aged 13 to 15 years
• Generator +16 - international fiction and animation feature film competition. The section is devoted to an audience aged 16 to 18 years
• Generator +18 - competitive section for feature films and short fiction and animation on children and young people but aimed at an adult audience
• EX Doc - competitive section of documentaries (feature only) Children and Young People
• Previews - out of competition feature films aimed at young audiences and families
• Parental Control - non competitive section for feature films of Italian film season 2019/16

Giffoni Film Festival (GFF) 2019 Accepted Screening Formats:

• Preferred formats are as follows: DCP, HDCAM (not SR), Blu-ray, DigiBeta.
• File H264HD or Apple Pro-res format only for short films
• Short films must not run for more than 30' while feature length films must run for at least 60'
