Head On Photo Awards will be held 01 to 25 Aug 2020 in Sydney, Australia. Head On Photo Awards is one of the world’s most prestigious photo festivals, The Head On Foundation believes that all photo-artists need a fair chance to show their work. This is why work submitted to the festival is judged without the artists’ names or pedigrees so the proposals stand on their merit. Head On has earned a reputation of operating with integrity and providing all photo-artists invaluable opportunities to exhibit in Sydney and internationally. Festival is calling for photographers to submit work across four categories: Portrait, Landscape, Mobile and Students. The competition is open to Professional and emerging photographers, photo journalists and artists. Across 4 categories, 13 judges and 150 finalists, Head On Awards represent a global selection of the best work from emerging and established photographers. anonymous judging ensures each work is selected solely on its merit rather than the celebrity of the photographer. Over the years, Head On Photo Festival has put $500,000(AUD) worth of photography equipment and prizes back into the industry through the Head On Awards.
The prizes are open internationally in all categories (except Students).
