EUROPAfest’s aim:

The festival’s aim is to celebrate the excellence of music, offering a distinct event in Europe, an enriching experience for the audience. In present, 90% of the performers are non-national, therefore for the audience the festival is a gate to Europe, a way to meet new cultures.

2020 EUROPAfest Bucharest:

An entire week dedicated exclusively to jazz. Between May 14 and 21, 2020, jazz lovers are invited to discover and to encourage the best musicians of the moment, “crème de la crème”, from all around Europe and other continents.

Improvisation, explosive energy and the joy to share music – these are the co-ordinates for the 2020 Bucharest International Jazz Competition. 

Last edition:

For ten days,in last  edition, EUROPAfest  revived the capital’s musical stage, gathering in Bucharest over 300 musicians from 45 countries from Europe, but also from other countries.
