Animatricks 2020 Competitions:
Animatricks Festival is launching its 2020 Call for Entries, inviting filmmakers to submit their animated short films. International competition is arranged now for the third time alongside with the traditional competition for the best Finnish animated shorts.
2020 Awards of Animatricks Animation Festival Helsinki:International productions chosen to participate will be screened in the International Shorts Competition Category. The best international animation will be awarded with 3000 euros and the best Finnish with 1000 euros.

Animatricks Animation Festival will be held 21 to 23 Apr 2020 in Helsinki, Finland. Animatricks Animation Festival is the oldest and coolest animation festival in Finland. This international festival brings together professionals and students of animation, as well as the general public, to enjoy the art of animation on and The festival works also as a meeting place for the animation professionals, students and fans. Founded in 2000, Animatricks is the only Finnish film festival focusing on animation. The New Finnish Animated Shorts Award has been handed out since 2005. The festival is organized by the non-profit association Palikkary. Animatricks Animation Festival presents annually an interesting selection of international animated film gems and showcases the newest Finnish animation.
