COMPUTEX Taipei Trade Show:
During the show, TAITRA organized over 4000 1-on-1 procurement meetings to directly link buyers with our exhibitors. 204 companies from 30 countries came to COMPUTEX looking for industrial computers, purchase order systems, wearables, 3D printing, memory chips, and mobile phone accessories. Key buyers included Best Buy and Best Buy Canada, Viasat, Staples Canada, Viglen, ASI Corp, MA Laboratories, Ulmart, and Toshiba Europe.

Acer offers 3-in-1 integrated hub
This year, Acer announced the expansion of its Build-Your-Own-Cloud Ecosystem, which it developed with 30 different partners from different levels of the ICT industry, like Ubuntu and MediaTek. This BYOC integrates many connected things with its aBeing One smart center from the four focus areas of the Acer Open Platform, which are connected cars, communication, health care, and smart home.
Intel: stronger, faster, smarter, better
Celebrating 50 years of innovation, Intel released 5th generation Intel Core mobile processors at its e21 Forum, as well as 10 different models of desktop and mobile processors, some of which were integrated with Intel Iris Pro Graphics.
Microsoft woos users with Windows 10
The tech giant previewed its Windows 10 operating system, which debuts worldwide on July 29th and will transform users from “needing…and choosing Windows to loving Windows”.

The highly coveted award: the COMPUTEX d&i gold award was presented to 5 products: Dell for their XPS 13 Ultrabook™ and Alienware Area 51 gaming desktop, TPV Technology for their AOC LX series curved TV and Digital Signage X 27” Digital Sign, and Smanos for their K1 SmartHome DIY kit .
Other winners inAcer, Asus, Philips, HTC, Gigabyte, Cougar, and many more.A total of 72 winning products were chosen for theclude awards from 271 product entries. With the growing popularity of the Awards, more than 21,000 visitors enjoyed the COMPUTEX d&i awards pavilions at Nangang Exhibition Hall during the show.
