The Pure Necessit

‘The Pure Necessity’, 2016, is based on David Claerbout's idea of returning their original behavior to the animals in ‘The Jungle Book’. This allows the Belgian artist to deconstruct the anthropocentric dimension of Disney’s story while offering a reflection on traditional narrative mechanisms.
