‘When you live in a New York apartment, it’s hard to collect sculpture,’ says Jill Kraus. So, in 2001, she and her husband Peter headed north to find a property suitable for the art they most wanted to support. Fast-forward 18 years, and there are now 18 large-scale artworks dotted around the Kraus’s land – most of which are original commissions from artists who had never worked outdoors before. Kraus took #ArtBasel on an exclusive tour of some of the highlights, from #MonikaSosnowska’s soaring staircase to #SolLeWitt’s little-known spheres. #MeetTheCollectors #JillKraus
