What a beautiful memory! Festival's Monday evening saw an Austrian premiere of the first piano sonata by Philip Glass, which he dedicated to Maki Namekawa. The piano sonata is a joint commission of Piano-Festival Ruhr, Philharmonie de Paris and Ars Electronica.
