Covёr is a design concept for mineral fragrance-free deodorant designed for progressive youths.
Each deodorant is an ‘invisible protector’ against sweat and odour, and this is portrayed in the design.
Thanks to the pattern, an illusion is created - the picture of the "defender" constantly eludes; and the closer to the image, the less it is distinguishable. The patterns were chosen because they symbolise ‘invisible protection’, of different cultures and eras of humanity; Jesus, Buddha, Poseidon and Anubis.
Mayya Mikhaleva from the British Higher School of Art and Design won a 2019 Bronze Pentaward for this concept.
