He was the constant companion of a dear friend, and could always be found running navigation from the cockpit of a 1979 Ford F-100 pickup that matched his color from time to time.⁠ I once saw Roy drive a truck. No police reports exist to verify this claim but witnesses are plentiful, should one need to be called to testify. Roy’s mind was sharp and his love for hotdogs was insatiable. His hips did not cooperate so much. He loved the beach, the crash of the surf, and took one last run at it before he passed. He is missed."⁠
