☄️ What would happen if you suddenly stumbled upon a meteorite? As if the space we inhabit, “infinite, indistinguishable and uniform in all its directions”, acquired physical and tangible substance and forced us to wake up from our self-absorbed path. . To open up LOOP 2019’s festival programming, a group show featuring works by Irene Grau, Abel Jaramillo, Julia Llerena, Belén Rodríguez, Francisco Navarrete Sitja, Pedro Torres, Regina de Miguel and Maria Molina Peiró will invite us to embark on a journey towards the interstices of outer space. A series of activities by Cris Blanco, Núria Gomez Gabriel and Alexandra Laudo will offer alternative readings to show. . The exhibition is a curatorial project by LOOP’s artistic director Carolina Ciuti. It is co-produced by LOOP Barcelona and Fabra i Coats - Art Factory and the Contemporary Art Centre of Barcelona. .
