And there it was, all of a sudden! With the official opening ceremony of GREEN SCREEN International Nature Film Festival Eckernförde the 13th International Nature Film Festival at the Baltic Sea started yesterday. Festival director Dirk Steffens (@dirksteffens) led through the evening, President of the Landtag Klaus Schlie signed the GREEN SCREEN membership contract, festival colleagues Vesa Heinonen and Ilias Missyris from the Vaasa Wildlife Festival (@vaasawildlifefestival ) as well as Fridays for Future (@fridaysforfuture.de ) Germany activist Nele Brebeck and Eckernfördes Mayor Jörg Sibbel talked about the climate crisis, this year's focus of the festival. The two wildlife filmmakers Jens Westphalen (@Jens westphalen ) and Thoralf Grospitz from Zorillafilm (@zorillafilm ) were also guests on stage and showed the Making Of of the two films ELEFANTEN HAUTNAH, which of course are also part of the official festival programme.
