Swiss artist #ChristophRütimann creates what he calls ‘reverse glass paintings’ by applying bright, industrial colors on both the glass and the canvas before uniting the two. In these works, the deeply saturated colors fill and conceal the canvas’ surface and structure, while the glass fuses and transforms the hues. Viewers peering into the works are met with their own reflection, momentarily becoming one with the piece.
