After photographer Elliot Ross’s cat died, his wife hung a picture of the beloved animal on the wall. Looking at the photo inspired Ross to consider how the interior life of animals differs from that of humans, and led to a multi-year effort to make portraits of animals all over the world. Ross has published two books of his animal portraits with @schilt publishing, and his work is currently showing in #Amsterdam @bloemopijburg.
