In honour of Science Week our friends at Ballarat Municipal Observatory have two upcoming weekends of educational events, celebrating all things Apollo 11!
The activities include a virtual reality moon walk, the creating of light box images, and making sun prints using UV rays. These events run alongside Ballarat Municipal Observatory Science Week activities, and our exhibition To The Moon And Back, curated by Rebecca Najdowksi & Dr Colleen Boyle, which opens next weekend the 24th of August.
We’re over the moon to be able to offer such an enticing education program for students of all ages in our 2019 program. Activities available this weekend from 10am to 3pm, this Saturday and Sunday (17th and 18th) and next weekend too!
