To celebrate Darth Vader’s arrival in the city we have taken the decision to add an additional mass ascent to the schedule at 06:00 on Thursday 8 August, as the current weather forecast is suggesting good conditions for ballooning tomorrow morning. . . We are closely reviewing the forecast over the weekend; currently the weather for Friday and Saturday suggests that it’s less likely the balloons will be able to fly. However, we are still planning for our famous Night Glows on Thursday and Saturday evenings and the event will remain open throughout the weekend with plenty of entertainment going on around the site. . . The forecast is also improving later in the weekend so we are currently very optimistic for further flying and will keep the public updated via the Balloon Fiesta social media channels. . . For those wishing to attend tomorrow morning the premium car park will open at 05:30 and is only accessible via Gate 4.
