Mathieu Asselin brings his hard-hitting exhibition Stock Market here to Ballarat for BIFB 2019.
The French-Venezuelan artist has conducted a 5-year investigation of Monsanto, one of the world’s most powerful corporations, using long-term documentary photography to capture the disastrous ecological consequences of their reckless practices.
The conglomerate is bedfellows with global political powerhouses, and persecutes organisations and individuals that attempt to expose their crimes. Asselin places himself in their crosshairs by travelling the world, documenting the impacts of their diabolical corporate greed.
