The Audience award in 2014 was won by director Zeresenay Mehari for his film @difretfilm. His opinion about the festival? ‘I had a great time in Amsterdam! Thanks for asking. I used the cash prize money that I got from WCA to help distribute the film in Ethiopia. Since we didn’t have a distribution company in the country, we had to distribute the film ourselves.
