Erections for Tra

‘Erections for Transatlantica’, the title of #MilenaDragicevic’s ongoing series, has both literal and figurative meanings. Erection is as defined, and may also be understood as ‘offerings’, whereas Transatlantica refers to a fictional place of origin or an in-between place – a concept the artist identified with while growing up in Canada as a Serbian immigrant.
