Marcelo Martinessi won the Jury award for his movies @lasherederaspy last year. We asked him about his experience with the festival! 'A festival memory? There are so many good ones :) I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the festival, the boat trip is a plus and also liked meeting journalists at the Rialto cafe, in a non-tight schedule, so we end up talking about each other, Amsterdam or life itself, instead of only about the film. But the best memory for me always has to do with getting into a dark room and watching good films. Considering the great curatorial approach of World Cinema Amsterdam, that was unforgettable Thank you Marcelo
