In 2015 Sibs Shongwe-La Mer won the Jury award with his film Necktie Youth. He used the money to work on the script of The Color Of The Skull (winner of ARTE international award for “most promising cinematic vision” at Cannes 2018). His favourite memory of the festival? Getting invited into the home of our director Raymond and eating a meal made by him and his wife.
