At our 27th World Congress, various featured guest speakers will present on important topics related to hair growth, hair loss, and hair research. Dr. Ohsang Kwong will speak on “Allogeneic Hair Transplantation: Current Status.” Ohsang Kwon, MD, PhD is currently a Professor at the Department of Dermatology, Seoul National University College of Medicine, Seoul, Korea. He clinically specializes in alopecia of both male and female, the scalp diseases, and hair restoration surgery. His research interests are mechanism of alopecia and hair follicle regeneration. He is conducting fundamental experiments in the field of stem cell biology and regeneration of hair follicles and trying to develop new treatment for hair loss including the experimental and translational approach of allogeneic hair transplantation. He has been actively conducting on hair-restore clinical trials, including the landmark phase 3 clinical trial to validate the efficacy and safety of dutasteride in male pattern hair loss.
