This morning we were so proud and wringing our hands with glee to present the #MAF2018 Fellowship Award to prolific animator Barry Purves. Not only is Barry a friend and huge supporter of the festival, he's also our enigmatic Awards Ceremony host! So how else could we keep his award a secret?? Hehe! The interview was broadcast on BBC Breakfast this morning, along with a beautiful discussion from Barry about the importance of using animation to deal with wider issues, much like the hero Stan Lee.
