#DesignerFocus | Andrea Sensoli (@andrea sensoli) is the Founder and Architect Principal at ASZ architetti and SUPERFUTUREDESIGN* (@superfuturedesign). Sensoli started his professional career in Florence, with renowned firms like Studio Archea and Claudio Nardi, before starting his own practice developing residential and retail projects working with clients, such as Gucci, Sergio Rossi, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and Alexander Mc-Queen. . Andrea founded ASZ architetti in Florence in 1998, along with his partners Cecilia Morosi, Iacopo Mannelli and Andrea Rettori. The partners launched their first international office in Dubai In 2009 and Shanghai four years after, before launching sister company, SUPERFUTUREDESIGN*, in 2015. . Sensoli was a key part of Dubai Design Week 2018, as the principal designer behind the installation Parametric Surfaces, that explored the domains of futuristic aspects in the world of design, like augmented reality. He was also the runner up of the 2018 edition of the Audi Innovation Award with his project CyRCLE. CyRCLE is proposed as a modern-day shelter and provides an enhanced means of communication: exploring the notion of modern fixation with screens by providing a 360 degree communal display space for meetings, gatherings or entertainment. .
