#LOOPFair2020 - The selection We are happy to announce that Galeria Presença @galeriapresenca (Porto) will again participate in the LOOP Fair, with a video by Danish artist and filmmaker Nikolaj Larsen @nikolajbendixskyumlarsen (Aalborg, 1971), titled “Rush Hour” - 2007. Along with film photographer Jonas Mortensen, Larsen captured noteworthy scenes of a Palestinian traffic policeman in a central roundabout at rush hour in Ramallah, the cultural and political capital of Palestine. With movement sequences that recall tango, ballroom and contemporary dance, this representative of state authority controls the vehicular traffic and simultaneously lightens the general mood of harshness and anxiety.
