#LOOPFair2020 - The selection We are happy to announce that Albarrán Bourdais @albarran.bourdais will be joining the LOOP Fair for the second year in a row! This time with a recent video by Spanish artist Cristina Lucas (Jaén, 1973), titled “The People That Is Missing (El pueblo que falta)” - 2019. Shot in the Svalbard Archipelago, the video sets out to enliven some of the most urgent questions of our time. The view point is the North Pole, where climate change has already had a strong impact. The title of the video evokes a quote by visionary Swiss artist Paul Klee. Underlined also by philosophers Deleuze and Guattari, it implies that the task of art is that of catalysing a community that is yet to exist, with a sincere and collective purpose towards a sustainable existence.
