Scottish writer, director and actor @pollyannamcintosh, star of hit post-apocalyptic TV series #TheWalkingDead, joined us for an #InPerson event hosted by Siobhan Synnot. Involved in independent filmmaking since she was 16 years old, with her first paid job in Irvine Welsh’s #TheAcidHouse, McIntosh presented her writing and directorial debut #Darlin, at the 2019 festival. #Darlin, a social issue horror film, also stars Pollyanna McIntosh - swipe right for a surprise! - alongside Lauryn Canny (pictured) and works as a standalone sequel to 2011's #TheWoman. It is currently available to watch on @appletv!
