In the 1999’s report “Seven Complex Lessons in Education for the Future”, the French philosopher Edgar Morin advocated for a learning system that would stimulate “the kind of knowledge […] to tackle the challenges we face as part of our individual, cultural and social lives.” One that would allow us “to sail the oceans of uncertainty through coasting archipelagos of certainty.”
Surfing through the uneasiness with positive energy, the Fair will this year relocate to a historic venue by the sea, that will allow us to implement the necessary safety and hygiene measures in the best way possible. From November 17th to 19th 2020, the Museu d'Història de Catalunya @museudhistoriadecatalunya (Plaça de Pau Vila 3, Barcelona), also known as Palau del Mar, will be welcoming artists, gallerists, curators and collectors for another edition where to exchange our common care for art.
This edition will also sail the digital seas, as we'll present an online platform designed to accommodate the specificity and challenges of the moving image. Along this visual ocean, we'll push forward the online possibilities with our Talks Programme and other digital collaborations.
Once again, we will be accompanied by our international committee of collectors chaired by Jean Conrad Lemaître with Isabelle Lemaître, Haro Cumbusyan, Renee Drake, Marc and Josée Gensollen. @i2tlemaitre @collectorspace ist #reneedrake
In the coming days, we’ll start announcing the participating galleries and the our jury members.
