John Gollings here and I’m the guest editor of this page until the 19th July. I’m a photographer with a Corona Virus postponed exhibition. I have 67 framed works still in bubble wrap from late March. In lieu of my opening at Australian Galleries I’m posting some of them here. In 1980 I had an exhibition at Joyce Evans’ Church St Gallery called ‘Barely a Portrait’. It was a study of personality change whilst undressing in front of a camera. Two major figures in Australian photography through the 70’s, Christine Godden and Kate Gollings, provided this entrancing portrait whilst disrobing. ‘Barely a portrait’ Christine Godden and Kate Gollings #1 1980 Edition 1/10. 30 x 24 cm.
