John Gollings here and I’m the guest editor of this page until the 19th. I’m a photographer with a virus postponed exhibition. I have 67 newly framed works in bubble wrap from late March. In lieu of my opening at Australian Galleries I’m posting some of them here. My first cultural project in 1973 was ambitious. I set out to document all the different tribal decorations of New Guinea villages. Three years of extraordinary adventures provided an early exhibition which ended up in the National Gallery of Australia.
