John Gollings here and I’m the guest editor of this page until the 19th. Sadly Instagram censored and deleted my last post; a 1982 image of a Stelarc suspension performance. I seem to have escaped the naked censoring and you can still see the same image on my Instagram site @johngollings From my archive, 2015. Where Australians drive Holdens, Urygurs drive donkeys. After a hard day’s night my young donkey friend from the Yophur Donkey Breeding Farm seemed more than happy to pose for a portrait (see image 2) whilst his father was my ride during the day as I documented the medieval mud brick city of Kashgar in the autonomous region of Xinjiang in China.
