⭐️ Yesterday was both a sad and euphoric day for us.⁠⠀ .⁠⠀ ▷ Although we couldn’t open the festival the way we would have under normal circumstances, we could at least launch KVIFF at Your Cinema, which features the participation of an incredible 96 cinemas throughout the country.⁠⠀ .⁠⠀ ▷ We spent the day in Karlovy Vary filming the official introduction with Jiří Bartoška and Marek Eben that was then shown before the opening film at all participating cinemas – which we took in at the Thermal and Čas cinemas.⁠⠀ .⁠⠀ ▷ Starting today, the KVIFF team will be traveling to cinemas all over the country in order to meet in person with filmgoers and exhibitors – i.e., all of you whom Jiří Bartoška presented with this year’s Crystal Globe during yesterday’s opening ceremony.⁠⠀ .⁠⠀
