‘What draws me to certain objects is my relationship to them and the meaning they acquire when I change their context and utilize them in a new situation, a situation outside their logic of use.’ — Perrotin (@GaleriePerrotin) is reopening their Paris gallery with an exhibition by Mexican artist Gabriel Rico. Consisting of thirteen works across four gallery spaces, the presentation includes two wall installations and seven assemblages all with a strong sculptural element. ‘Nature Loves to Hide’ invites the viewer to reflect on the relationship between humans and the natural environment. —
