Italian film star Giulietta Masina was one of the cover stars of our 1957 festival brochure, starring in Federico Fellini's #NightsOfCabiria! ⠀ ⠀ Her small role as the prostitute Cabiria in #TheWhiteSheik led to comparisons to Charlie Chaplin, revealing her gift for pantomime. The role was then revisited in #NightsOfCabiria, for which she went on to win the Best Actress award at Cannes Film Festival.⠀ ⠀ 2020 marks 100 years since Fellini's birth, with celebrations taking place across the year to recognise and celebrate his work.
