The first street art

The first street art project organized by Florence Biennale was created by Shamsia Hassani on the occasion of the XIth edition (2017) and of the "European Day of Justice". Shamsia (born in Tehran, 1988) is the first female graffiti artist of Afghanistan. She is associate professor of Drawing at the Kabul University and fights for women’s rights as well as for peace, solidarity and freedom of expression. • Il primo progetto di street art patrocinato da Florence Biennale e realizzato da Shamsia Hassani in occasione dell’XI edizione (2017) e della “Giornata Europea della Giustizia”.
