Madeline Bishop was a finalist in the inaugural Alane Fineman New Photography Award in 2019. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Her work 'Sink into the hollow' is a series of photographs created onsite at Carriageworks during a residency. The people featured in the images are all in the midst of a working day. Their jobs range from performers to finance managers to farmers. All of the subjects have been asked to take a brief respite from their work and rest.
