Gambia's young and unemployed population, and failure of startups in the country negatively affects its economy. Our National Partner, @startupincubatorgambia (SIG) approaches the problem squarely by engaging directly with the youth. The SIG is an established non-profit organization with a mission to build the next generation of entrepreneurs, foster innovation and stimulate economic growth. The AIM Startup National Pitch Competition in collaboration with SIG goes to Gambia on 23 January 2020 in Point Click Technologies Disruptive Lab located at 78 Atlantic Boulevard Fajara. Winning startups will receive cash prizes, gain the opportunity to be mentored by industry experts, and maximise the potential to attract funding for their business.
