The 2019 Golden Foll

The 2019 Golden Follicle Award, bestowed annually to an ISHRS member who has made outstanding and significant clinical contributions related to the field of hair restoration surgery, was awarded to Robert H. True, MD, MPH, FISHRS, of New York, New York, USA. A meticulous surgeon who has embraced all the new techniques in the field, Dr. True is well known as someone who always shares his expertise with others and has taught numerous colleagues how to perform FUE. Through the ISHRS surgical workshops, regional society workshops, FUE-Palooza, and Orlando Live Surgery Workshop, he directly influenced and inspired many surgical minds. A dedicated member of ISHRS, Dr. True has served as Program Chair for the ISHRS World Congress and Editor of the Hair Transplant Forum International. Recently, he took on the project of establishing an online, dynamic searchable website for the Society's journal, the Forum. Congratulations Dr. True!
