#BrianRochefort’s vessels are an explosion of clay, texture, and color. His process involves firing, glazing, breaking, rebuilding, and RE-glazing ceramic vessels multiple times until, in his words: ‘as many glazes as possible until I can’t fire anymore,’ as told to @designmilk. In @energygloop’s two untitled 2019 works – on view at @vandorenwaxter (Kabinett, booth F24) – he organizes the vessels in an imperfectly perfect fashion within two custom, artist-designed cases.
